Oakdale Interact Club

Oakdale Rotary sponsors the Interact Club at Oakdale High School, with the oversight of mentor, Jerry Jones, Oakdale Rotarian.

How It Works

Interact Club gives students the opportunity to work together to help their community. Members meet after school on Fridays to come up with ideas to benefit the community. Then, participants come together to turn their ideas into reality.

Interact clubs organize at least two projects every year, one that helps their school or community and one that promotes international understanding. Rotary club sponsors mentor and guide Interactors as they carry out projects and develop leadership skills.

Interact clubs bring together young people (ages 12-18) to develop leadership skills while discovering the power of Service Above Self.

Interact Club lets students at Oakdale High School have an outlet for their desires to help others and make their community a better place to live.

These young individuals connect with leaders in their community and around the world to:

Take action to make a difference in their school and community.

Discover new cultures and promote international understanding.

Become a leader in their school and community.

Have fun and make new friends from around the world.
